The Dream Collection Sheet Set (in Chocolate; $54.99 - $74.99) that I received are unequivocally superior in comfort, style, and quality. The sheets are luxuriously soft and the color is a rich brown, which brings a distinctive flavor to my bedroom. I love that the dyes that are used in the sheet set are all low-impact, with no harmful chemicals. I honestly didn't know how harmful some dyes could be in other brands. However, it makes a major difference to me now after learning more about them. I don't want my skin to come in contact with these type of chemicals. I also love that the sheets came in a re-usable shoulder bag, which can used for shopping to reduce the use of petroleum based disposable bags.

Magnolia Organics were given certification by the Global Organic Textiles Standards. All of their processing of these sheets is done in a Fair Trade Environment - from spinning through packaging. The Dream Collection Sheet Set is also available in Blue, French Vanilla, White, White with Piping, Laurel Oak, Moroccan Blue, Blue Mist, Sage, and Dark Gray.

Their Signature Candles ($16) make an elegant statement with their pleasant fragrances. She just recently added two new scent to their line, Haven and Trellis.

I recently received two candles from their signature line, Blushing Tulips and Roses. Great as receiving a bouquet of flowers, these particular scents would make great gifts for Valentine's Day! I don't have a preference since both smell really good. "Roses" has a light, yet beautiful scent. While on the other hand, "Blushing Tulips" has a much stronger smell (with a tinge of sandalwood and musk) that is just as beautiful as the other scent. Other scents I wouldn't mind trying are Valencia (a mix of mandarin, lily, cashmere, musk, woodsy notes, and jasmine), Vanilla, Orange & Honey, Magnolia, and Tuscan Vineyard.

I also received the Large Rose Sachet ($2.50), which is great for any room, vehicle, and vacuum cleaner bags. You can even simmer the contents to enjoy this fragrance! The Rose sachet has a surprisingly stronger scent than the candle. I placed this sachet in my closet and I am surprised how strong the scent is even after a few weeks. Definitely a steal at $2.50!

Graphic designer Geoff Weiser and former retail buyer, Suji Meswani, are the co-owners of Skeem Candles. Prior to launching the Skeem brand in 2004, this Philadelphia based husband and wife team, did more than a year of research and development to perfect the wax formulation, develop the scents and colors and, of course, create the candles themselves. The name “Skeem”? Well, it is a play on words and the company is named after the couple’s “scheme” to break free from the corporate world. The rich, colorful designs and unique long-lasting scents are inspired by their vast travels which include three to four annual trips to exotic locales such as, India, Costa Rica, and Thailand.

The Blood Orange Candle ($36) has a strong and delightful citrus scent that fills an entire room with an uplifting aroma. The smell is comforting and warm, yet coyly seductive and exotic. The candle features three wicks and has 80 hours of burning time. The lid features highly saturated images of signs, stamps, and rupees in a riot of contrasting Bollywood-esque color. The beautiful jar is reusable once the candle is finished burning. The Half Pint version of this particular scent is $14. Skeem Candles are perfect for any candle connoisseur!

Soy candles are much better for our health and environment than traditional paraffin candles. Soy candles do not emit the soot. Not only do paraffin candles leave black residue on the containers they were burned in, but prolonged use of these candles can stain your walls, ceilings, curtains or blinds, and even carpets or rugs. Another benefit of soy wax is that it is a biodegradable product. This means it cleans up easily with just soap and warm water. To date, the EPA (or any other organization) has not conclusively studied the long term health issues that may arise from burning paraffin wax candles compared to burning soy candles. However, the EPA did find organic chemicals and known carcinogens, such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and acrolein in paraffin wax. In addition, Rezaei et al. studied the combustion characteristics of soy, paraffin and beeswax candles, and they concluded that measurable amounts of formaldehyde were detected when burning paraffin candles.

My Thoughts: I received a Set of 2 Glass Candles in the scents of my choice, Bergamot and Fruit Explosion. With 75 hours of burning time, these slow-burning candles are a steal if bought as a set since you save save 17%. They also offer 20 different tantalizing fragrances such as Orange Vanilla, Rose, Ginger Lemongrass, Gardenia, Mint, Ginger Sandalwood, Spice, Midnight Fig, etc. I love both scents, because they are both uplifting and livens up the atmosphere. The Fruit Explosion has a beach-ready blend of mango, pineapple, peach, and coconut. You can mentally picture yourself basking in the sun, while sipping on a fruity concoction. The Bergamot is a refreshing and crispy scent of citrus that will drive away the ho-hum winter blues. I'm certainly no stranger to Bergamot since it is used in one of my favorite teas, Earl Grey.

I honestly didn't know what a good mop was until we had the opportunity to review the Spin & Go 360 Mop ($49.95). I chose to review the Color Burst, Chili Mango 32pc Service for 8 ($79.99) since I was in a need of a set that would incorporate with my orange, white, and green theme in the kitchen. I still use the dinnerware set that I reviewed awhile back, but it doesn't really blend in the theme that I want much as this one does. This set is simplistic in design, yet it's very eye catching with the bold colors. The first shipment that I received was bit of a disappointing experience since there were several broken and chipped pieces. However, Oneida came to the rescue by sending another set to replace the broken pieces and some, which I wasn't expecting at all. This set includes 8 each: Dinner Plates, Salad Plates, Soup Bowls and Mugs. Originally $120, you can buy this set for $79.99 or the Color Burst, Chili Mango 16pc Service for 4 for $39.99 (Orig. $60).

Dyson DC25 Animal Review

Other vacuums keep costing. Other machines are still designed to need replacement bags, belts and filters. Over five years, the maintenance costs are up to $267. You can get away from the extra cost by purchasing a Dyson.

We were given the opportunity to give a review on the Dyson DC25 Animal ($549.99), which is a Dyson Ball™ upright for pet hair pick-up. Rides on a ball for greater maneuverability.

The UPS man rang our doorbell to let me know he had a box that he made sure he wasn't going to leave outside because of the contents. I was ululating in happiness when I saw the picture of the Dyson on the box. I have wanted a Dyson after my cousin purchased one, and said she was blown away at the dirt the Dyson picked up out of her "just vacuumed rug", after using her old vacuum first. Another thing that made me happy was putting it together was a breeze, you simply can't get it wrong.

Well, my cousin was not wrong because the Dyson will pick up dirt the older one won't. The easy to maneuver vacuum with the HEPA filter that's designed to trap microscopic allergens is a must in my house since I have bad allergies. This is what I call 'high-tech' cleaning!
