Eva Mendes got busy in bed over the weekend, heading to Macy’s in N.Y.C. to launch her newest home decor collection. And while the actress is no longer a novice when it comes to bedroom design, having debuted her first Vida by Eva Mendes line with the department store last year, she’s following up on her success with five vibrant designs, including three totally new patterns: Kiki, Penelope and Juliette. The collection ranges in price from $100 for decorative pillow sets to $385-$400 for a comforter — but right now you can nab some of the sets for nearly half off at Macys.com.

Review: CSN Rugs

I was thrilled when CSN Rugs contacted me to do a review on one of their rugs. I wanted something that would go with my vintage black and white theme that I'm in the process of working on in my bedroom. The options were endless and I spent countless hours trying to decide on the perfect rug. I almost threw my hands up in frustration since they have rugs galore, which is not a bad thing at all. I finally settled for the L.A Rugs - Fun Shags Black Chenille Cotton Shag Rug ($79) and I love, love, love it! It is absolutely stunning in person and the quality is great. It is a steal at $79. They also offer free shipping!
CSN Rugs is a site that has the best selection of area rugs from top notch brands such as Kathy Ireland, Lynette Jensen, Bob Timberlake, Phillip Crowe, Andy Warhol, Angela Adams, Jaclyn Smith and many more!

Review: Select Comfort
I'm quite smitten with the In Balance Blanket ($118.99 - $189.99) that I received from Select Comfort. The In Balance Blanket will help you stay cool in warm weather and warm in the much cooler months ahead. I hardly have any restless nights thanks to the In Balance Blanket and Downlite Quilted-Top Feather Bed ($99.99 - $139.99). I love the look and feel of both. The In Balance Blanket is reasonably priced, and what is even cooler about it is that it helps decrease the energy bill since I'm keeping cool with this instead at night.
It is filled with hypoallergenic down alternative over a layer of Outlast® Adaptive Comfort® Viscose material. 300-thread-count 100% cotton sateen cover with 4-inch box construction eliminates shifting of fill. Finished with a 3-inch satin binding on all four sides. Logic™ Label system takes the guesswork out of where to start making your bed.

Help Your Kid's Futon Make it to Graduation
Just last month, many parents undoubtedly tossed bedspreads, pillows, carpets, and futon cushions into the dumpster after they saw the damage that just one year at college had done to the collection of brightly colored dorm-wear purchased just months prior.
With late night cram sessions, midnight snacking, and cramming into a small dorm room for a party, overworked college décor rarely makes it to graduation day…
Perfect for the wear and tear of everyday dorm room life, Sure Fit’s durable, machine washable futon slipcovers are no match for run-of-the-mill pizza stains, soda spills, pen ink and more.
These fun and functional-colored futon covers are priced at only $39.99 to $49.99, making them an inexpensive, easy way to make a futon last through school. Available in a variety of colors in jersey knit, soft suede, woven cotton and the recently added fleece and cotton duck materials, parents can rest easy knowing that at least something can be salvaged.
